Description

Made from cedar wood with a matte-black finish and filled with high-quality 2B, 3mm lead, Moleskine pencils share the same rectangular shape and rounded corners as the roller pens. The black cap features a lacquered steel clip that attaches neatly to any Moleskine notebook cover. Accompanying the two pencils and cap is a specially-designed sharpener (also in matte black) with a premium German blade and a 12.5 mm opening. An extra bonus is a set of 24 adhesive labels to personalize your cap.

    Moleskine Paper Grade Guide

    • Moleskine "standard" paper used in most Moleskine notebooks is 70 gsm (47#), ivory-colored paper, acid-free and eco-friendly FSC certified. It is made from pigmented pulp, and is perfect for pens and pencils, and all dry media (e.g., charcoal and pastels).
    • Moleskine "standard plus" paper used in Cahier and PRO notebooks is slightly thicker than the "standard" paper is 100 gsm (68#), ivory-colored paper, acid-free and eco-friendly FSC certified. It is made from pigmented pulp, and is suitable for fountain pens, pens and pencils, and all dry media.
    • Moleskine "sketch" paper used in Sketchbooks/Sketching Kit, Japanese Albums, Storyboard Notebooks is 165 gsm (111#), acid-free and eco-friendly FSC certified. This rich sketch-grade card stock is the most substantial paper and stands up to eraser use and provides a great base for all dry media (drawing pencils, pastels and charcoal), as well as pens, fountain pens and markers.
    • Moleskine "watercolor" paper used in Watercolour Books is 300 gsm (140#), a cold-pressed, cotton-blend watercolor heavyweight paper. It is made from using 35% cotton fiber and can handle layer upon layer of watercolor washes, in addition to all dry media (drawing pencils, pastels and charcoal), as well as pens, fountain pens and markers.
    Moleskine is FSC® certified (Forest Stewardship Council), supporting responsible management of the world’s forests. Moleskine notebooks are made with environmentally friendly acid-free paper.
